Description
This is an 18th-century building, originally a Senior Citizens' Room and formerly a Workmen's Club. The lower portion of the walls is constructed from Purbeck stone, which has been dressed by hand, while the upper portion is red brick. The roof is tiled, with a coped gable at the west end featuring brick kneelers. Tall red brick stacks are also present. The building is two storeys and has an attic. The eaves have projecting brick courses. The west end features a range of blocked round-arched loading doors, alongside a modern entrance door. The north side includes two ranges of casement windows with glazing bars, along with a modern door. The south side has casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor.
