Description

The Old Ship Public House is a 2-storey building located on High West Street. The front is roughcast and features 2 windows. The ground floor has been modernized, while the first floor retains 2 17th-century mullioned windows: one with 5 lights and the other with 4 lights. The frames of these windows appear to be original, as do the lead glazing bars and the glass. The Old Ship Public House, along with Nos 13 to 15, Nos 18 and 19 (The Royal Oak Public House), and Nos 21 to 24, as well as the Church of Our Lady, form a group of significant buildings.
