Description

The Clock Tower, erected in 1907, is a notable structure located in Easton Square, Portland. It is built from hammer-dressed stone blocks with ashlar dressings and features a lead spire. Designed in the Jacobethan style with Gothic details, the tower has chamfered corners and a battered plinth. The clock faces are set within an open-pedimented cornice, which is adorned with finials and lucarnes on the spire. This clock tower serves as a prominent feature in the square.
