Description

The building consists of a barn, coach-house, brew house, and attached garden walls at High Hall, likely dating from the 18th century. The barn features brick walls and tiled roofs with stone eaves courses and is a single storey structure. It has a north-east entrance with a weather-boarded gable and large timber doors, along with slit windows. The south-east entrance is blocked. Inside, there is a simple tie-and-collar-beam roof.

The coach-house, which is attached to the barn on the west, also has brick walls and a tiled roof with slate eaves courses, and is a single storey with timber ledged doors. The brew house, attached to the coach-house on the west, has brick walls and a pyramidal tiled roof with stone eaves courses, topped with a louvred timber turret. This structure is two storeys high, featuring large timber doors and first-floor casement windows with lead lights.

To the south of the barn, there is a walled garden with high brick walls that are buttressed and have moulded brick copings. There is a blocked opening with terra-cotta runs on stone blocks and piers, along with a greenhouse and the remains of a pergola along the north wall. This building group is included for its collective historical value.
