Description
The main stable block at High Hall, dating from the 18th century, features brick walls and a tiled roof with stone eaves courses and a brick dentil cornice. At the center, there is a timbered bell and clock turret, which is weather-boarded and topped with an ogee lead-covered cap and a timber cornice. The building is one storey with an attic and has a long range with a projecting central bay beneath a pediment. The central arched opening has a stone surround, keystone, and imposts, while an elliptical window is located in the pediment. Each side wing contains one panelled door and three mullioned and transomed windows with lead lights. The attics feature two hipped dormers with casements also fitted with lead lights. The stables are connected to the main house by a brick wall.
