Description

Old Mill House is a mill and millhouse that has been converted into a dwelling. It dates from the 16th century, with additions from the 17th century. The building is constructed of rubble, brick, cob, and timber framing, and it is whitewashed. It has a half-hipped thatched roof with a brick stack along the ridge on the right side. The layout is T-shaped, and the house is one and a half storeys high, featuring a two-window range and a crosswing. There is a 20th-century picture window in the crosswing and 3-light casements with full and horizontal glazing bars. A thatched porch is located in the re-entrant angle, and there is a 20th-century wooden addition on the right side.

Internally, the house has blocked open fireplaces and exposed beams.
