17 Princes Street is an 18th-century building located on the north side of Princes Street. It features a roughcast exterior and a pitched tile roof with tall brick stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with two ranges of cased sash windows. The entrance includes a six-panel door topped by a flat hood supported by well-crafted brackets. There is a dormer that has a hipped tile roof, slate-hung cheeks, and a casement window with glazing bars.
