Description

The stable building at Manor House, dating from the 18th century, features brick walls and a tiled roof with stone eaves courses. It is a single storey structure with a loft, equipped with timber ledged doors and pivoted windows that have glazing bars. At one end, there is a harness room that includes a fireplace, and the building retains remnants of loose box partitions. An 18th-century lead pump on the external wall bears the initials JFC, which stand for James Frampton. This stable is included for its group value with the house.
