Description
Buckham Mill is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century. It features dressed stone walls and a thatched roof, which is gabled on the left side and hipped on the right. There is one stone-rendered stack located to the left of the center. The building has one and a half storeys and includes four windows, with three being 3-light stone mullions on the left side that have a hollow chamfer. The first floor has three lighter windows in a wooden frame with leaded panes dating from the 17th century. The remaining windows are 19th-century casements, consisting of two and three lights. The front door is centrally located, wooden, and panelled, dating from the 20th century, with a stone lintel that has been incised to represent voussoirs. Inside, there is a deep-chamfered ceiling beam with stopped ends from the 17th century.
