Description

Flax Mill Cottage is an attached cottage dating from the early 19th century. It features lias rubble walls and a concrete tile roof, with stone gable copings at both the left and right ends. There is one brick chimney stack on the left gable, while the right-hand stack is blocked off. The cottage has two storeys and attics, with three windows that are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars, along with wooden cills and lintels. An attic casement window is located in the gable end. The front door, positioned to the right of centre, is a wooden, six-panelled design with a wooden lintel above, dating from the 20th century.
