Description
These are large stables located south of, and running parallel to, The Manor House, connected to the house by brick walls that form a courtyard. They were likely built in the 18th century, although they may stand on the site of an earlier stable range. The walls are a mix of brick and stone, with low-pitched corrugated iron roofs. Originally two stories in height, most of the intermediate floor has now been removed. A projecting block extends northwards, featuring stone walls and a tiled roof. Internally, some original stable partitions remain. The stables are included on the heritage list for their contribution to the group value of the Manor House.
