Description

No. 8 North Street is a house with origins in the 16th century, featuring numerous later alterations. The structure is made of rubble and timber framing, with herringbone brick infill and brick elements. It has a thatched and tiled roof, along with a brick chimney stack. The house is one and a half storeys tall and has a five-window range on the ground floor. The windows are predominantly 2 and 3-light casements, many of which still have wrought-iron casements with leaded lights.
