Former School At Approximately 30 Metres North Of Church Of St Sennar

The former school, located approximately 30 metres north of the Church of St Sennar in Zennor, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a hipped roof covered with grouted scantle slates. The building has a rectangular plan for the schoolroom, which includes four windows on the east front, and a roughly square entrance porch attached to the rear right corner. At the right end of the property, there is a small walled playground that contains a roofless earth closet at the north end. The exterior is a single storey with a regular arrangement of four windows on the east front, which have 20th-century windows fitted in the original openings. The interior has not been inspected.
