Description
The headstone of Lucy Hewett, dating from 1785, is located 6.5 metres to the south of the west end of the south aisle of the Church of St. James. It commemorates Lucy, the wife of Thomas Hewett and the daughter of John and Grace Pope of Camelford. The headstone is made of slate and has a rectangular shape with moulded corners. The inscription features both upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
