Description

This is a shippon with a loft above, likely built in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from local stone rubble, featuring granite quoins and lintels, and has a slate roof with gable ends. The building consists of a row of four shippons on the ground floor, with the loft above. It is built into a bank, with the ground rising at the rear, resembling a bank barn. Access to the loft is provided at the back. The exterior has two storeys and an asymmetrical front elevation, with granite lintels and quoins. There are four shippon doors on the ground floor, and a loft door to the right of centre, flanked by two window openings. The interior has not been inspected.
