Description
This is a pair of gatepiers, a flanking wall, and railings located at the southeast entrance to Trewardale, dating from around the mid-19th century. The gatepiers are made of granite and are square in plan, featuring chamfered corners and run-out stops. They have crenellated caps with cornices. The low flanking wall is constructed from rusticated granite blocks and is topped with cast-iron railings.
