Description
This is a tombchest located 65 metres southeast of the Church of St Materiana in Tintagel. It dates from the 18th century and is made of slate ashlar, designed in the shape of a sarcophagus. It commemorates a baby who died at the age of 16 days. The inscription on the slate lid is almost illegible.
