Description

This is a headstone dating from the 18th century, located approximately 2 metres north of the west end of the Church of St Budock. It is inscribed to James Doael, who died in 1750 at the age of 23. The headstone is made of dressed freestone and features a vertically set slab with Baroque details, including a carved pilaster on either side of the incised inscription and a shaped, scrolled head.
