Description

This is a headstone commemorating William Webber, located 3 metres to the east of the chancel of the Church of St. James. It dates from 1762 and is in memory of William, the son of Richard and Jane Webber, who passed away in that year. The headstone is made of slate and features a nowy head with an inscription in upper and lower case lettering that includes serifs. Above the inscription, there is a crude angel's head.
