Description
This is a headstone dated 1784, located approximately 11 metres southwest of the porch to the Church of St. James. It is made of sandstone and features an upright rectangular slab. The inscription is presented in an arcaded panel that includes a ribbed keystone and sunken spandrels decorated with a vase and foliage. The headstone commemorates Anne Brook, the wife of George Brook, who died in 1784 at the age of 39, along with their three children, who are also buried nearby.
