Description

This is a grave slab dated 1728, located immediately south of the aisle of the Church of St. James. It is made of sandstone and is rectangular in shape. The slab features well-preserved inscriptions dedicated to Thomas Sheppard of Maltby, who died in 1728, as well as to other members of his family and three members of the Jubb family.
