Description

This outbuilding, located 3 metres to the southwest of the Leathern Bottle, is a Grade II listed structure dating from the early to mid 19th century. Originally a smithy, it is now used as a store. The building is constructed of stone rubble with granite quoins and features a rag slate roof with gable ends. There is a brick stack on the right side.

The overall plan is rectangular, with the forge situated on the right, heated by the end stack, and double doors located on the left. The exterior is single-storey, with plank double doors to the left and a partly blocked door to the right of centre. The interior is not accessible for viewing.
