Description
The animal drinking trough is located in the farmyard wall to the north of Shillingham Farmhouse. It consists of a granite tank that has been set into the wall. The trough features a revised granite lintel above it, which is inscribed with "F 1603 B," likely referring to the Buller family. The trough includes fragments from the 17th century, but its current position dates from the 19th century or possibly the early 20th century.
