Description
The cross in the churchyard is located about 2 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Mawgan in Mawgan-in-Pydar. It dates back to either the pre-Conquest or medieval period and is made of granite. The structure features a circular stone base with four projecting ribs, topped by a square stone block. Atop this block is a roughly hewn granite monolith in the shape of a Latin cross.
