Description

The cross base, dating from around 900 to 1000, is located in St Ewe and is made of roughly hewn granite. It has a square plan measuring approximately one metre by one metre. In the center, there is a socket designed for the shaft of a cross. The base features an inscription in Latin that reads: "LURATICUS FECIT CRUCEM PRO ANIMA SUA." It is also recorded as an ancient monument with the number 212.
