Description
The headstone of William Apps, dated 1775, is located 11 metres to the north of the chancel of the Church of St Endelienta. This rectangular headstone is made of slate and features inscriptions in both upper and lower case lettering with serifs. The inscription includes a verse that reads: "Who e'er thou art that looks upon my Tomb E'er soon or late thou to the same must come I in my youth by death was snatched away Prepare thy self for the great coming day." The headstone commemorates William, the son of Josiah and Lovdy Apps.
