ST CLETHER SX 28 Sw 4/186 Wellhouse 70 metres to south of - Basil Manor

GV II

Well-house. Circa early C19, probably with earlier origins. Stone rubble. Roughly rectangular plan with thick stone rubble side walls and rear wall built against bank as ground rises to rear. On front the granite lintel from a 2-light mullion window has been reset above the opening. Interior: Stone steps lead down into the rectangular sump.
