Description

ST LEVAN TRENDRENNEN SW 32 SE 7/256 5.3.86 Barn and adjoining cartshed at approximately 15 metres north of GV Trendrennen Farmhouse II Barn, possibly remodelled from former house. Probably partly C17 but mostly circa early C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings including some reused C17 chamfered granite masonry. Grouted scantle slate roofs with gable ends. Plan: Rectangular plan barn incorporating a very thick front wall of an earlier building. Probably has central opposing loading/winnowing doorways with rear doorway possibly aproached by flight of stone steps (rear not inspected). On the right is a later cartshed extension. Exterior: 2 storey barn, single storey cartshed. Barn has 2 window south-west front with central first floor loading doorway flanked by 2 small windows. Doorway towards right of ground floor with small window on its right and a similar window towards the left. Cartshed has wide partly blocked central doorway and wide doorway on the left. Interior not inspected.
