Description

This is a cross located approximately 25 meters southeast of the Church of St. Credan in Sancreed. It dates back to the Pre-Conquest period and is made of granite. The cross features a monolithic wheel-head that is set over the churchyard wall. Both the front and rear faces of the cross have Greek crosses in relief. It is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, number 641.
