Description
The Hooper chest tomb, located about 8 metres southeast of the chancel of the church of St Morwenna, is an early 18th-century brick chest tomb. It features an inscribed slate lid that commemorates John Hooper, who was buried in 1739, along with other members of the Hooper family. The lid is adorned with a winged skull and flowers carved above the inscription, with a verse located below the inscription.
