Description
This chimney, located approximately 30 metres east of Vanner House and associated with the now-derelict Wheal Basset Mine, dates from the later 19th century. It is constructed from uncoursed granite rubble with some brick. The chimney has a tapered cylindrical shape and lacks a cornice at the stone stage, with most of the brick upper stage now missing. It is part of a group of structures that are prominently situated on the northern slope of Carnmenellis.
