Description

The Retreat is a small house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed granite and has two storeys with three sash windows that feature glazing bars. The central entrance includes a door with a rectangular fanlight above it. The roof is hipped and covered with slurried slate, and there is a lean-to extension on the right side. The Retreat is part of a group of listed buildings along the main road, contributing to the character of the village.
