Description

The stone cross located at SX 085 679 is a Grade II listed structure in Bodmin. This resited preaching cross may date back to either the pre-Conquest period or the medieval era. It is a fairly tall, tapered granite monolith featuring a wheel-head, which displays weathered remains of a flared Greek cross in relief. The cross was moved to its current location during the construction of the Bodmin by-pass.
