Description

This is a boundary stone located between the original Chacewater and Gwennap parishes. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of granite. The stone is a monolith, roughly hewn, and inscribed with the number 27. It marks not only the parish boundary but also the mineral rights of local landowners.
