Description
This is a gateway with piers and walls, built in the mid-19th century, located about 30 metres north of Tregeare House. It is constructed from slatestone rubble with granite dressings. The walls are made of stone rubble with a rubble coping, standing approximately 1.5 metres high and extending about 50 metres in length. At each outer end, there are terminal piers made of stone rubble topped with pyramidal caps. The walls are swept in and ramped up to a central gateway, which features a pair of square plan rubble piers, also with pyramidal caps, standing about 3 metres high. There is a 20th-century wooden gate.
