Description
The Crown Inn is a public house that dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a front made of granite ashlar and has a dry slate roof with projecting eaves at the front. There are brick chimneys located over the gable ends. The building has a double depth plan with two front rooms. The entrance, which is now positioned to the right of the middle, was likely relocated from its original central location. The exterior is two storeys high and was originally designed with a symmetrical three-window south front and a central doorway. The doorway is now to the right of the middle, with a window in the position of the former doorway. It has a panelled door and possibly original 16-pane hornless sash windows. A verandah with a glazed roof, dating from the early 20th century, runs along the front. The interior has not been seen.
