Description
The Trevelyan Arms Hotel is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It features a stucco exterior and a dry Delabole slate roof with crested clay ridge tiles, wide eaves at the front, and cast-iron ogee gutters. The building has a double depth plan, with a wide front room on the left and a narrow front room on the right, separated by an entrance hall that leads to a stair hall at the rear, flanked by service rooms.
The hotel is two storeys tall and has a regular four-window, four-bay north front, with the doorway located in the third bay from the left. Notable architectural details include a plinth, rusticated quoins, stucco keystones, and a panelled eaves soffit. The entrance is accentuated by a distyle Doric wooden porch and features a wide doorway with panelled sides and a six-panel door topped with an overlight. The interior has not been inspected.
