Description
This is a dovecote located about 80 metres east of Cotehele House, likely built in the late 16th to early 17th century and restored in the 20th century. It is constructed from slatestone rubble and has a circular plan. The exterior features a small doorway on the north side and a buttress on the south side. The roof is domed and corbelled, topped with a lantern for dove entry. Inside, the walls are unplastered and lined with rows of square pigeon holes. There is a potence with two tiers of platforms.
