Description
The Littleton monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 3 metres south of the tower of the Church of St Michael. It dates from the 18th century and is made of slate. The headstone features a shouldered segmental head with two urns at the top and a central skull within a roundel. There is an incised border surrounding the inscription panel, which includes valedictory verses dedicated to Peter Littleton, who passed away in 1794.
