Description

Penwyn is a house dating to approximately 1850, with limited alterations since. The walls are of rubble construction, rendered externally. It has a slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends, and brick chimney shafts, one of which is rendered. The house follows a double-depth plan, with a central entrance hall leading to principal rooms on either side, each heated by a gable-end stack. The ground floor has two original four-pane sash windows, and a central four-panelled door. The first floor features two smaller four-pane sash windows. Stone steps lead to the front door. A 20th-century glazed door and a two-light casement window are located on the cellar level. The rear and interior of the house were not inspected.
