Description
Deviock Cross is a cross that likely dates back to before the Conquest. It is made of granite and features a wheelhead design with a roughly hewn shaft that has an irregular chamfer, standing about 2 meters high. The wheelhead displays a Latin cross in raised carving, and there is an irregular line in raised carving running down the shaft. The rear of the cross is similar to the front. It is set on a roughly hewn square granite plinth. This structure is also designated as an ancient monument.
