Description

This road bridge over the river, likely built in the early 19th century, is constructed from granite ashlar with granite dressings. It features a single-span design with a round arch on each side, supported by splayed abutments that have square caps. The bridge is topped with hogs-back coping and squat pyramids on the abutment caps, and it includes parapet strings. It is noted for being a complete and unaltered example of its type.
