Description

This is a headstone located in the churchyard about 18 metres northeast of the chancel of the Church of St Mewan. It dates from the 18th century and is made of slate. The headstone features a square shape with well-executed lettering and low relief carvings of scrolls and decorative tendrils. It commemorates Ezekiel Gaved, who died in 1771 at the age of three, and Arthur Gaved, who died in 1779 at the age of thirteen.
