Description
The cart shed, located approximately 75 metres west of Trewoofe Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a scantle slate roof with gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan and is single-storey, with an open front at the south-east end that includes a wide doorway, which is the only opening. Inside, there are three nesting boxes in the right-hand wall and a 19th-century roof structure. The shed is also used as a henhouse.
