Description
Radland Mill bee house is a small rectangular building, likely from the 18th century, constructed from slatestone rubble and currently roofless. It features gable ends and is built into the bank on the outer side. The front gable end includes a window opening with a timber lintel and square pigeonholes with slate perches above, indicating it would have had a pigeon loft. The rear gable end contains four rows of bee boles on the inside, which have curved backs and slate cills, arranged in a triangular shape within the gable. The building measures approximately 5 meters by 3 meters and has a small single-storey lean-to on the outer side.
