Description
This is a disused house located 25 metres southeast of Trehane, likely built in the 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof with gable ends. There is a brick stack on the left side and a projecting stone rubble front lateral stack with a brick shaft near the centre. The original layout is uncertain, but it appears to consist of three rooms and a cross or through passage. The left room seems to be heated by an end stack, while the hall is heated by the central stack. An adjoining cottage to the east may have originally been part of this house, but it has been significantly altered in the 20th century and is not included in the listing. The house is two stories high and has an asymmetrical front with three windows, a projecting front lateral stack near the centre, and the remains of a late 19th or early 20th-century porch and door to the left of the stack. There is also a window in a blocked door opening directly to the right of the stack, and three windows remain on the first floor. The interior was not accessible during the inspection in 1987.
