Description
The Pinch monument is a chest tomb located about 10 metres south of the nave of the Church of St Stephen. It dates from around 1840 and is made of granite, featuring slate inscription tablets. The tomb has a rectangular shape on a plinth and is topped with a tent-shaped lid. There are two rebated settings for inscription tablets on the east and west sides, and one on the north and south sides. The monument was created by Edgecombe of Truro in memory of George Pinch, who passed away in 1840.
