Description

The waterwheel located to the west of Trebarwith Farmhouse is a large structure dating from the late 19th century. It features a cast iron overshot wheel, although the timber buckets have been removed. The site includes a surviving aqueduct and launder. The gearing was originally connected to Trebarwith Farm to operate threshing machinery and may have also been used to provide power for the slate quarries to the east.
