Description
The Wellington Monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 2 metres north of the tower of the Church of St Nivet in Lanivet. It dates from the 18th century and is made of slate. The headstone features a stepped round top and has an incised border around the inscription panel, which displays good lettering. The inscription commemorates someone named Wellington and is dated 1762.
