Description
This is a barn located approximately 20 meters north of Trendrennen Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate half-hipped roof. The barn has a rectangular plan with a single-storey cartshed extension at right angles behind the left-hand side. The structure includes stables and a waggon shed on the ground floor, with a granary above, and has opposing loading and winnowing doorways. The exterior is two storeys high, with the south-east front featuring a stable doorway on the left, a wide waggon doorway towards the right, a central first-floor loading doorway, and a small blocked window on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
